Divination Isn't A Slot Machine
There are many impulses to get a psychic reading. I used to grab a 15 minute session hoping to hear of romance, a different boss, and a better life. I needed good news. I needed change.
But since those readings I’ve realized that divination isn’t a cheat code or a short cut. My divination practice evolved when I stopped treating it like a slot machine. In developing my spiritual practice and my psychic practice I’ve learned that Divine Intelligence is meant to get you to your next milestone. We’ve come to Earth to grow, usually amidst suffering, and not being swallowed by its hardships is life’s work.
Not being capsized by life’s storms and successes - that’s the function of Divination. Rather than approaching divination as a linear recital of events and happenings consider it as a peek into your energetic weather system. Imagine yourself as a satellite in space, with the satellite pointing towards your life. Divination is the high-resolution photograph that shows the people and structures and situations that influence you and alter the trajectory of your life.
