How Did Kelly Predict ‘Deceit’ for the 2020 Election?
This is the 1st post in a series of 3 about my 2020 election prediction.
Post 1 of 3: How did I predict ‘deceit’ for the 2020 Election? (When anticipating deceit doesn’t require psychic ability but let me explain.)
If you haven’t read the original post then pause and hop into it here.
Three of Swords kicked off the election reading as the first card pulled. Tarot contains several cards prognosticating deceit, mirage and illusion (see other pics) but Sword 3 specifically indicates misfortune resulting from a manipulation of information.
This is not an ambiguous, subtle card. It’s the equivalent of flashing red lights, “DECEIT AHEAD!” Look at it. It’s one of the “scaries”.
Reasonable persons understand President Trump is a habitual, compulsive liar. This isn’t partisan mudslinging, an exhaustingly documented list counts 20,000+ lies as of July 2020. This observation is included to support the prediction analysis.
So while it is self-evident and reasonable for psychics and non-psychics alike to anticipate deceit anytime the President is involved, the appearance of THREE OF SWORDS, set the tone for my prediction.
It validated my psychic antennae was attuned to the right frequency in the reading. We collectively associate deception with him. It’s observable. Proven. Known. Pulling a card that aligns with known behavior validates psychic communication in the reading is reliable.
Detour…
Now, it’s enough to simply say ‘deceit’ or ‘deception’ ahead. Psychics are routinely accused of using vague, broad language whereby any number of meanings can be true. I agree with this criticism. Some unethical, unskilled and untalented psychics take advantage of simple language to either mask a psychic blindspot or provide cover for a weak psychic attuning. Worse, there are frauds with no psychic talent infiltrating the field to take advantage of those seeking guidance.
Weighing in with a third explanation, my take is some/most psychics aren’t loquacious. They use simple language because they need to make the point fast and efficiently. It takes real skill to translate a psychic message into a description the client understands. There are many differences in communication style, vocabulary, literacy, and cultures.
It is often like threading a needle where the psychic needs to translate the divination with enough specificity to reassure the client there’s a legit psychic hit but avoid narrowly interpreting the message. When interpreted too narrowly there is a risk of missing the meaning or providing too much detail that doesn’t get recognized by the client.
So I posit that sometimes simple language is used because the psychic is working against a time limit, prioritizes clarity above specificity, and is bridging the gap between communication styles and comprehension. It rarely pays to be clever in psychic readings. Clients want pragmatic, recognizable messages that help them.
It doesn’t explain all the bullshit in divination but it should be considered IMO.
Back to the Prediction…
So let’s recap. Where talking about the sequence of pulling cards for the election, where Three of Swords was the first card pulled and thus set the tone. That first card, in my style of reading based on several years experience and a committed practice to understanding abilities, typically tells me if I’m attuned to the psychic channel. In other words, it tends to prove or disprove if I’m in the right ballpark.
If I pull a card and I have no idea why it showed up, what it means in relation to the question, or it doesn’t dance well with the cards then I end the reading because it’s random. There was no alignment between my psychic antennae and the cards. I haven’t attuned and there is no pre-cognition. And hey, this happens all the time. Good psychics admit when a reading is a dud. They admit when they’re struggling in a reading because the messages aren’t flowing. At the beginning of new client readings I explain, “If you’re not recognizing what I describe it’s okay to tell me. Sometimes there won’t be a connection between us. It happens. Let’s end the reading early, schedule a rain check, and try again another time.”
But Sword 3 immediately resonated in this pull. There was no hesitancy. No pause. No doubt. Instant recognition of its implication because of the President’s reputation for deceit.
The second point of confidence about predicting deceit in the election centers on the question I asked, “In light of Justice Ginburg’s death what do I need to know about the election?” Note, I didn’t ask who would win the election. I asked what needs to be known about the election. The framing and structure of questions is one of the most important steps in a reading. It provides clarity. Well-phrased questions minimize ambiguity.
Following my own rules of tarot interpretation I then look at the Sword 3 and answer the question, “What wants to be known is that there will be deceit in the election.” Particularly with Sword 3 the deceit stems from distortion of truth because the suit of Swords represents cognition, perception, truth, understanding, comprehension of information. This isn’t about deception because of illusion or manipulation of feelings. It’s deception through manipulation of mental comprehension. It’s challenging observable facts. Disputing consensus. It’s propaganda. “Alternative Facts”.
With Sword 3 not only do we have deception by manipulation of truth but it’s a deception that causes heartache and strife. It ripples through recipient with turbulence and tension, it’s an explosion of strife.
Compare this to the Moon card, which is about illusion or Knight of Cups’ symbolism of mirage. If any other ‘illusion’ card had presented, instead of Sword 3, it’d be prognosticating a different experience, a different scale of events, a different response from the collective.
But I didn’t want to end with just a description of the act. As I wrote the post, the divination refined itself and I sensed that the deception would be specific to the election night. There was a sharpness to the premonition of words being spoken. I sensed palpable action with this card. I didn’t ‘see’ a vision of Trump claiming victory nor did I ‘see’ anything else about that night. What I sensed was more akin to when you catch a vague smell in the air, you’re definitely smelling something but it’s not strong enough to identify. As I anchored into the premonition that smell became sharper, almost like the sharpness of a taste, where you can detect nutmeg and cinnamon and clove but can’t pull out the one ingredient that calls to you…except as I concentrated on the meaning the premonition came into focus and the words wrote themself in the post.
As I wrote and edited the post the premonition grew stronger, like a hand pushing up and out through my chest. There would be a specific act, a deliberate manipulation, a cognitive aggression came through in the reading. It rendered the sentence, “In this instance I sense a particular, deliberate attempt to claim initial victory on election night when it’s not a clear-cut outcome.” I wrote this sentence and published the blog on September 26, 2020. Here’s a list of headlines from the election:
Trump Falsely Asserts Election Fraud, Claims a Victory
As American Awaits a Winner, Trump Falsely Claims He Prevailed
With States Still County, Trump Falsely Claims He Won
Who Won the Election? It’s Close, But Trump Falsely Claims He Did
Trump Falsely and Predictably Claims He Already Won
So this is how I ‘predicted’ deception. The next post dives into my prognostication that Biden wins the election.
