Election Results Distraction
While we wait for election results…looping back to this line I wrote about the election outcome. Re-reading it now I can’t help but laugh at the language I used. I mean, one needn’t be psychic to anticipate Trump would prematurely claim victory but my wording is pretty spot on.
I had no plans to “predict” the election and explained why in the post from Sept 26. In short, I didn’t trust myself to have a clear signal on it, too many emotions and strong personal feelings...but I got the impulse to pull cards when RBG died. I went with it.
My psychic journey, the path to understanding my abilities and working with them ethically, means being transparent even when I get it wrong. Not that I think I interpreted the cards wrong in this instance but TBD till we get final results.
Too little is known about psychic abilities and the explanations that are provided tend towards poetic spiritualism rather than frameworks with objective measures.
Psychic prediction is more art than science. While we wait for the science to catch up I build my practice around transparency. I look forward to sharing my theories on pre-cognition, divination and prediction. There’s a lot to understand and it begins with candid conversations about when predictions go right and when they go sideways.
It won’t be enough to be a practitioner. I want to understand it in a meaningful, rigorous way. I want to share my theories and explanations. I’ll be writing more about this on my blog.
(Also, this approach will be an outlet for my science-based, analytical headspace. Before I went psychic I was an analyst. I have a degree in science and believe this field can be improved when psychics contribute to the stream of scholarship.)
